About ShoeTrack: Running Shoe Miles
Most shoe apps count miles and stop there. ShoeTrack also asks how your shoes actually feel, then tells you when a pair is done.
After every run, you get one quick question: how did that feel? Tap Rough, Okay or Great right from the notification. You don't even have to open the app. ShoeTrack puts your answers together with your mileage and gives every pair a plain verdict: Healthy, Getting close, or Replace now.
Here's the part we care about most: your legs get a vote. Two rough runs in your last three rated runs and the shoe gets flagged, even if it's nowhere near its mileage limit. Some shoes feel finished at 200 miles. Others still feel great at 450. Now you'll know which kind you've got.
RUNS ADD THEMSELVES
ShoeTrack reads your running workouts from Apple Health, whether they were recorded on your Apple Watch or in a running app that saves to Health. New runs show up on their own and go to your default shoe. Want more control? Switch to manual and pick the shoe for each run. Put a run on the wrong pair? Move it, and the miles fix themselves.
A VERDICT AT A GLANCE
Open the app and see where every pair stands:
- Healthy: plenty of good miles left
- Getting close: start thinking about the next pair
- Replace now: it's time
Each shoe shows a mileage bar and your last few comfort ratings, so you get the whole story in a second.
A NUDGE BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE
Get a heads-up at 80%, 90% and 100% of a shoe's mileage limit. Set the limit anywhere from 100 to 1,000 miles. New shoes start at 300.
THE LITTLE THINGS
- Retire a pair when you're done with it
- Ratings older than 45 days stop counting, so one bad stretch doesn't follow a shoe around forever
- Light and dark mode
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No ads. Everything stays on your iPhone. ShoeTrack only reads from Health and never writes to it.
PAY ONCE
One small purchase and it's yours. No subscription, no in-app purchases.
Built for runners who would rather listen to their legs than guess.
