About SignalRadar
Signal Radar shows you the wireless signals around you, in 3D, in augmented reality, and on maps. Find nearby Bluetooth devices, see where your Wi-Fi is strong or weak, check for trackers, view nearby cell towers and run network tools, all from one app.
SEE EVERY BLUETOOTH DEVICE
- A live 3D radar places nearby Bluetooth devices around you
- Tap a signal to lock on and track it
- Sonar ping and haptic pulses get faster as you get closer
- AR Finder lets you point your camera and see signals floating in the room
- Clues help identify unknown devices, and you can label the ones you know
- Choose from six radar color palettes
FIND WEAK WI-FI SPOTS
- Signal AR draws animated waves and points you toward the strongest direction
- Dead Zone Map records signal as you walk and paints it on a map
- Indoor Map lets you draw your floor plan with walls, doors and stairs, then tap to record readings room by room. It supports multiple floors.
- Wi-Fi signal strength is an estimate based on how quickly your router responds, because iPhone does not give apps a true signal reading
CHECK FOR TRACKERS
- Scan for AirTags and other Apple Find My trackers, Tile, Samsung SmartTag, Chipolo and Google Find My Device trackers
- Unknown devices that keep showing up as you move around are flagged
- Get a notification when something is found
- Note: a tracker that is still near its owner's phone may not be visible. Trackers are detected once they are separated from their owner.
MAP YOUR SIGNALS
- Record Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, magnetic field and EMF readings while you walk
- Save walks and review them later
SEE CELL TOWERS (FREE OPENCELLID TOKEN NEEDED)
Cellular Coverage shows nearby cell tower locations on a map and in AR, with a filter for 5G, LTE, 3G and 2G. Tower data comes from OpenCelliD, a free community database, and you need your own free access token to load it. It takes about two minutes:
1. Go to opencellid.org and tap Sign Up. Create a free account and confirm your email address.
2. Log in and open your Dashboard.
3. Find your Access Token and copy it.
4. In Signal Radar, open Tools, then Cellular Coverage.
5. Tap the key icon at the top right, paste your token, and save.
6. Tap Load Towers.
Your token is stored only on your device. Tower data is crowd-sourced, so coverage varies by area, and iPhone does not reveal which tower your phone is connected to.
BUILT-IN NETWORK TOOLS
- LAN Scanner finds devices on your Wi-Fi network
- Ping, DNS lookup, traceroute and port scan
- Speed test
- Beacon Decoder and Raw Advertisement Viewer for Bluetooth developers
EXPORT EVERYTHING
- Choose what you want and export it as a PDF report, Word document, JPEG pages, CSV or JSON files, or a single ZIP
- Includes scan history, heatmaps, indoor floor plans, tower lists and more
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- No accounts, no ads and no analytics
- Scan data stays on your device
- Local-only mode and one-tap data clearing
- The only data that leaves your phone is your location, sent to OpenCel
