SkillForge - Agent Skills

SkillForge is a native, privacy-first app for discovering and managing open-source Agent Skills — reusable SKILL.md building blocks for AI coding agents.

Updated for iOS 27.0 and macOS 27.0.

Works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot and Gemini CLI.

BROWSE BY PROFESSION
• Jump straight to skills for frontend, backend, mobile, data, design, product, marketing, writing, security, legal, finance, office work and more.
• Or browse by category: documents, development, creative, enterprise and productivity.

POWERFUL SEARCH & RANKING
• Keyword search with smart ranking by relevance and repository popularity — useful skills from trusted sources surface first.
• When your local catalogue has no match, results are augmented live from GitHub.

FIND THE RIGHT SKILL, AND TRUST IT
• Filter by development stage — Define, Plan, Build, Verify, Review, Ship — so you find skills by where you are in the work, not just what they're about.
• Skill pages surface the author's own Red Flags and Verification checklists up front, quoted exactly as written, so you can judge a skill before you run it.
• Maturity badges appear only when the source repository declares one. We never invent a rating.

COMPLETE SKILL DETAILS
• Read the author, source repository, stars, licence, last-updated date and the full SKILL.md right inside the app — no need to leave.
• Download the SKILL.md file with one tap, or open the original repo on GitHub.

CONNECT YOUR OWN GITHUB ACCOUNT
• Sign in via device authorisation or paste a personal access token to fetch the freshest, fullest skill catalogue in real time using your own higher rate limit.

WORKS OFFLINE
• The catalogue and the skills you open are cached on-device, so SkillForge keeps working when GitHub is slow or unreachable.

AI USAGE AT A GLANCE
• Track your AI coding assistant plan and usage; sync it through your private iCloud to view remaining and total quota on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

CUSTOM SOURCES
• Add any public SKILL.md by pasting its raw URL — it's fetched and classified on-device.

PRIVACY-FIRST, NO SERVER OF OUR OWN
• The app runs no backend and doesn't track you. Public data comes from GitHub; favourites, searches and tokens stay on your device or in your private iCloud / Keychain.
