About SocialParty.io
SocialParty shows you what's actually happening near you tonight: karaoke, live music, concerts, trivia, comedy, DJ nights, open mics, and sports watch parties at local bars and venues. Then it helps you get your friends there.
Every listing is a real event with a time and a place. A venue shows up only when something is planned, so you're never scrolling a map of places with nothing going on.
FIND SOMETHING TO DO
• A live feed of events near you, as a list or on a map
• See who's going and how many of your friends will be there
• Favorite venues and acts and hear about their new events right away
• Get one daily roundup of new events nearby, plus a heads-up for anything starting soon
• Buy Tickets links for concerts
GO WITH FRIENDS
• Add friends by search, QR code, or an email invite
• Mark yourself Interested or Going, and bring guests
• Tap "I'm here" when you arrive so your friends know you made it
• Chat one-on-one or with a whole group
• Share any event with a link that works even for friends who don't have the app yet
PLAN WITH YOUR GROUPS
• Make groups for your regular crew
• Every event on a group's page has its own discussion: see who's in, who's interested, and who hasn't answered, then talk it over
• Mute any chat when you need some quiet
• Mark the dates you're free, see when your friends are free, and find the nights your whole group is open, with events happening on those days
HOST YOUR OWN
• Post an event at any venue that hasn't been claimed by its owner
• Throw a private, invite-only party with SocialParty Premium
FOR VENUES AND PERFORMERS
• Claim your venue or act page to manage its details and post events, including weekly nights
• Once you claim a venue, only you and your managers can post there
• Share access with up to 5 managers
• Acts can post their gigs at any venue and share when they're available to book
SUBSCRIPTIONS
SocialParty is free to use. Optional monthly subscriptions:
• SocialParty Premium: host private, invite-only events, create groups, and pick a custom @username. New members can start with a free trial.
• Venue ownership: claim and manage a venue's page. Includes Premium.
• Act ownership: claim and manage a performer or act page. Includes Premium.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm your purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Groups, private events, and custom usernames are now free for everyone.
• Pick your own @username. Choose one while setting up your profile, or change it any time in Settings → Edit Profile.
• Create groups and host private events. You no longer need Premium to start a group or throw an invite-only party. Without Premium you can own a few groups and host a few upcoming private events at a time; Premium removes the limit.
• Premium badge. SocialParty Premium members now have a blue badge next to their name on profiles, in search, friend lists, group members, chats, and event guest lists.
• Clearer sign-in on a second device. Without Premium, your account stays signed in on one device at a time. Signing in on another device now asks whether to stay on your other device or switch to this one, instead of quietly signing the other one out. If a device gets signed out, it tells you why. Premium keeps you signed in on all your devices.
• Fix a mistyped email when signing up. Entered the wrong address? Tap "Wrong email? Change it" on the verification screen and we'll send a new code to the right one.
