Stock Flight Recorder

Stock Flight Recorder isn't a charting app, a quote app, or a tip app. Like an aircraft's black box, it records every trading DECISION you make — so later, future-you can grade past-you with data. It's an investing decision journal and personal coach for iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Most investors forget why they bought, forget why they sold, never learn the real cause of a loss, and repeat the same mistake. Stock Flight Recorder makes the moment of decision permanent — then turns those records into honest analytics.

HOW IT WORKS
• Capture the reasoning before you buy — buy reasons (pullback, breakout, earnings, flows, theme… multi-select), a one-line thesis, target / stop / expected holding period, a conviction slider (0–100%), a 1-month prediction, your emotion, and a "letter to your future self" (why you bought + what would prove you wrong).
• Your own past answers you at input time — "Your real win rate on recent 90%+ conviction trades: 38%." No server, no AI, just statistics computed on your device. (This is our "AI without AI.")
• Korean, US, Japanese, Chinese, Hong Kong stocks and crypto — type the code, get the name (7203, 600519, 00700, BTC). The same journal on iPhone and iPad.
• An automatic review when you sell — alongside sell reasons and emotion, the app auto-scores whether you followed your plan, whether you honored your stop, and whether your prediction was right, then captures a one-line lesson.

THE HONEST ANALYTICS YOU GET BACK
• Home dashboard — open positions, win rate, average risk-reward, best & worst strategy, investor level
• Strategy report card — win rate, average return and count per strategy (pullback, breakout, value, momentum, theme, earnings)
• Prediction accuracy — how often your 1-month calls were right, split into up-calls and down-calls
• Conviction calibration — do you actually do better when you're sure? Win rate by conviction band
• Emotion analysis — win rate by emotion (excited, anxious, neutral…)
• Discipline rate — the share of trades where you actually honored your own stop / plan
• Investor type & level — an auto-generated investor personality and a novice → rule-based → strategic → systematic → master progression

PRIVACY FIRST
All the analysis happens on your device. No account, no server, no ads, no tracking. We never fetch prices. Your journal is stored only in your own iCloud, so it follows you from iPhone to iPad to Mac — and we can't read it. You can turn iCloud sync off in Settings whenever you want.
