- 🆕SubTally: its developer released another app: learnIT-knowIT
- 📦SubTally updated to version 2.2What's New in 2.2
- Closing the Add/Edit screen with unsaved changes now asks "Discard changes?" first, so you won't lose an entry by accident.
- "Consider cancelling?" now waits for at least 2 weekly check-ins before it suggests anything, so it's based on more than one answer.
- You can now rate SubTally right in the app. We'll only ask now and then, after you've been using it for a while.
- CSV exports now put the price and currency in separate columns, which makes them easier to use in a spreadsheet.
- Weekly check-ins now save more reliably, and a failed save is reported.
- Changing your settings now tells you if something couldn't be saved.
- Backups are more reliable. Restoring one from a newer version of the app is refused, and orphaned usage answers are dropped.
- Subscription dates no longer get stuck or drift in a few edge cases, and saves can't overwrite each other.
- Marking a subscription as cancelled is more reliable, and notification permission is now requested before reminders are scheduled.… more - 📦SubTally: now updating weekly4 updates in 30 days, after a quiet two months

Cancel a subscription without losing its history
- Mark any subscription as cancelled. It stays active until its renewal date, and the day after it moves to a new Cancelled section on Home.
- You'll get a reminder before it ends, with a prompt to check it's cancelled with the provider so you aren't charged.
- A new "Saved by Cancelling" card on Data shows how much each cancelled subscription saves you per month and per year.
- This replaces Pause, and anything you'd paused is now marked as cancelled.
Clearer charts
- Every category on the spend donut now has its own colour, so Music and Entertainment no longer look alike.
- Slices run from largest to smallest, clockwise from the top.
Better for your region
- Amounts and dates now follow your device's region, including separators and date order.
- A dark launch screen now appears when your phone is in dark mode.
Fixes and polish
- Weekly check-in answers now go to the right week when you answer a day or two late. Existing answers are corrected automatically.
- VoiceOver improvements across subscription rows, charts and settings.
- Small stability and under-the-hood improvements.… more - 📦SubTally updated to version 2.0.1SubTally 2.0 is here — a big update focused on helping you actually understand and manage your subscription spend.

• Redesigned service picker: subscriptions are now grouped into collapsible categories, with Custom Entry as the last row
• Free trials now convert automatically when the trial ends, so they start counting toward your monthly total
• CSV export now shares a proper .csv file that opens straight into Numbers, Excel or Sheets
• Exports are safer to open in spreadsheet apps, and the temporary file is removed after sharing

• More resilient storage: a damaged entry can no longer stop the app from loading
• The monthly total now shrinks to fit instead of being cut off when the amount is large

Review momentum
ⓘ How we measure thisReview momentum (0-100) blends how fast the app collects ratings compared with other apps in its category (60%), whether that pace is speeding up (25%) and what recent raters give it (15%; recent stars well below lifetime pull it down). Ratings counts are read daily. A jump usually means a launch, a feature, ads or a new review prompt.

About SubTally
No accounts. No cloud. No tracking. Just your subscriptions, tallied on your device — so you can finally see what you're actually paying for each month.
WHAT IT DOES
- One hero total — your monthly and annual spend, normalised across weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly cycles, right at the top of the home screen.
- Sorted by renewal — active subscriptions are ordered by what's coming next, so the bill that matters tomorrow is at the top.
- Local reminders — get nudged the day before a renewal, scheduled directly on your phone. No push servers, no notification middleman.
- Trials and pauses — mark anything as a free trial or temporarily paused. Those don't roll into your monthly total, only what you're actually paying.
- 42 ready-to-go services — Netflix, Spotify, Notion, iCloud+, Disney+, YouTube Premium and more, each with the right icon and colour. Or add anything custom in seconds.
- Made to match — light, dark or automatic, paired with seven accent colours (teal, blue, indigo, purple, rose, orange, green).
- Export anytime — send your full list out as a CSV through the system share sheet. Your data, your move.
