This isn't a cut-down mobile spin-off. SynthSYS for iOS is the complete instrument — the same engine as the SynthSYS VST3 and AU plug-in on desktop — rebuilt for touch and running natively on iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. On iPad and iPhone Duo it's also a full AUv3 plug-in: load it straight into GarageBand and your favourite iOS music apps, or play it as a standalone synth.
FOUR OSCILLATORS. SIX ENGINES.
Every patch stacks four oscillators, and each one can be any of six engines:
• Wavetable — scan and morph rich, evolving tables
• Virtual Analogue — fat saws, squares and supersaw stacks
• FM — a full six-operator FM engine with selectable algorithms
• ROM — 99 built-in sampled instruments: pianos, electric keys, organs, pads, leads, basses, brass and synth shots
• Sampler — bring in your own samples, slice them, stretch them, play them granular
• Noise — for air, grit and texture
SOUND DESIGN WITHOUT LIMITS
Two filters in series or parallel. Four envelopes, four LFOs, two MOTION lanes and a 32-slot modulation matrix. Eight assignable macros and an XY pad put the whole patch under your fingertips, and LOCKS stores eight snapshots of a sound and morphs between them.
AN FX RACK THAT MEANS BUSINESS
A modular effects case and a full rack: reverbs, delays, chorus, distortion, EQ, dynamics, convolution spaces and granular textures, all ready to patch.
ARP, SEQ AND MOTION
A tempo-synced arpeggiator with its own piano roll, latch and swing. A step sequencer. MOTION for drawing movement into any sound. Everything locks to the beat.
