- 📦TakeMyWeek: Calorie Counter updated to version 2.8What’s new in 2.8:
• Share a recipe: its name, time and calories per serving, with a link to get TakeMyWeek.
• Share your plate photo result: the calorie estimate and macros. The photo itself is never shared.
• A shared meal plan or shopping list now ends with the app’s download link.
• Settings › Subscription: “Redeem a code” to enter an offer code.
All values remain estimates, not medical advice.… more - 📦TakeMyWeek: Calorie Counter updated to version 2.6What’s new in 2.6:
• Macros everywhere: protein, carbs and fat are now counted for every journal entry (plate photo, barcode, planned meal, food from the list, manual entry) and shown next to your daily calories, with the share of each one.
• Protein shake: save your powder once from its label, then add a shake in one tap with the number of scoops and water, semi-skimmed milk or unsweetened soy drink. It counts in your calories and macros of the day.
• A new look: lighter surfaces, cards and buttons in relief, clearer choices and a new icon.
• Easier to use: native recipe search, long-press menus on meals and recipes, swipe to check off groceries or delete a journal entry, short tasks in sheets, haptic feedback at key moments.
• Larger text sizes are supported on more screens, and Reduce Motion is respected everywhere.
• Health: clearer steps to turn on step reading when no steps are found.

- 📦TakeMyWeek: Calorie Counter version 2.5.1What’s new in 2.5.1:
• Plate photo: the calorie range is gone. The result now says clearly that it is a rough estimate that can differ a lot from the actual calorie content of your meal.
• New reminder under the list of foods: oil, butter, cream and sauces are often invisible in a photo. Add them with “Add a food”.
• A separate message when a quantity was reduced to stay within the app’s limits, so you can check it.
• Screen fixes: fields and buttons stay reachable above the keyboard in the barcode scan, in the manual journal entry and when you enter your weight (“Continue” in “Your goal”, “Next step” in the setup questions). The “One of these situations applies to me” switch (calculator and Goals) also responds when you tap its label.
• The “Uncertain estimate” mark under a food now also appears for foods that are not in the app’s own food list. A line without the mark is not necessarily right: check every food and quantity.
• Other features work as before.… more - 🆕TakeMyWeek: Calorie Counter released on the App Store

About TakeMyWeek: Calorie Counter
Snap your plate and get a calorie estimate, analyzed on your iPhone. Plan your lunches and dinners for the week in a few taps, then shop with one list sorted by aisle. More than 1,000 recipes, a daily log, Goals for weight and steps, barcode scanning: everything stays on your iPhone.
CALORIES FROM A PHOTO
Take a photo of your plate: the artificial intelligence built into your iPhone estimates what is on it and its calories. The photo is analyzed on your iPhone and is never saved or sent. Add the result to your daily log, which keeps what you ate today and your calorie total. The first 3 analyses are free; after that, plate photo analysis is part of Premium. It needs an iPhone compatible with built-in artificial intelligence, running iOS 27 or later; the rest of the app works without it.
MADE FOR YOUR NEEDS
Answer a few questions when you start and TakeMyWeek sets up your week for you: diet, allergens, cooking time, number of people and goals. Change everything any time in Settings. Cook once, eat twice turns dinner into the next day’s lunch. Add your own items to the shopping list, share it by aisle or export it to Reminders to shop together. The only notification is the optional weekly reminder, if you turn it on. Your answers stay on your iPhone. A free calorie calculator estimates your basal metabolic rate and maintenance calories per day and per week from your activity; nothing you type is saved.
YOUR WEEK AND YOUR SHOPPING
Lunches and dinners that match your time, diet, allergens and the ingredients you avoid. Lock a meal you love, replace another with one tap, and adjust servings: quantities follow. Ingredients from all your meals come together in one shopping list, sorted by aisle and without what is already in your pantry.
MORE THAN 1,000 RECIPES
Browse Classics, world cuisines, Light and protein-rich, Low calorie and Réunion Island. Filter by meal and keep your favorites. Calories and macros are estimated per serving, with a daily total.
WELCOME OFFER
For new installs only, during the 48 hours after you first open the app: an annual subscription whose first year is paid up front at a reduced price, then renews at the regular annual price. The price is shown in the app in your local currency, and Apple decides eligibility. Cancel any time in your account settings.
YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
No account, server, ads, tracking or analytics. Everything is stored on your iPhone; you can export your data as JSON on demand. Plate photos are never saved or sent. Steps read from Health are never exported or sent. Barcode scanning contacts Open Food Facts only when you scan, and sends nothing but the barcode.
