TextTV downloads
Worldwide, per day, and installs to date. The band is open; the exact number is free with an account.
How this is calculated
Apple publishes no download counts. App Store downloads come from chart positions and daily rating growth per country, calibrated on Google Play install counts; lifetime installs from ratings worldwide × installs per rating. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.
Where TextTV's downloads come from Modelled
Last 30 days: organic search, browsing the store, features and paid ads.
Active users
All platforms, worldwide. Free with an account.
Stickiness (DAU / MAU)
how many monthly users open it on a given day
How this is calculated
Monthly users come from lifetime installs across every store, fitted on monthly active user figures companies publish; daily users = monthly × the typical daily/monthly ratio for the category. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.

Review momentum
20/100
faster than 0% of News apps
Review momentum (0-100) blends how fast the app collects ratings compared with other apps in its category (60%), whether that pace is speeding up (25%) and what recent raters give it (15%; recent stars well below lifetime pull it down). Ratings counts are read daily. A jump usually means a launch, a feature, ads or a new review prompt.
About TextTV
For iOS 7 and later you should instead look at our new app: TextTV II.

Currently supported channels:
SVT, Sweden
NRK, Norway
YLE, Finland
MTV3, Finland
NOS Netherlands (not tapable page numbers)
MDR, Germany
BR. Germany
Easy navigation:
Drag left, right, up and down for nearby pages. Use "Back" button for previously visited pages. Click page links or tap the page number field at the top to enter page number manually. All sub pages displayed below first page. Use system settings to change start page and other preferences. Supports landscape mode.
Shortcuts:
Five configurable shortcut buttons for channel and page. Reconfigure by holding on the button for 3 seconds.
You can swipe the page number at the top to go to a predefined page. Use settings on your home screen to configure. Default all swipes go to page 100.
Miscellaneous:
Some channels have a time at the top that is not the same as when viewed on a TV. This time reflects the time the page was changed. So you may think you read old news but it is the latest available on internet and the same as on TV.
Please note:
This is only a specialized web browser and relies on publications on the internet. This means that channels may disappear at any time.
Requires OS 6.0 or later.
