- 📦Threadbear updated to version 1.0.4A few bits since the last one:
- Replies can now show diagrams and little web pages, and Slack or email drafts show line for line with a Copy button
- You can pick which Mac a new thread runs on, and put your Macs in the order you like
- Messages waiting for a Mac that's offline show up in the thread, and you can cancel them
- The mic shows a waveform and how long you've been talking, with a small stop button
- You can add your own words for dictation to get right, in Settings
- Copy a thread's ID, and paste one into a message to link to that thread
- Ask no longer talks about my own setup (Agent Archive and Tailscale), it just says your Ask server and links to how to run one
Hopefully you like it, and if anything's broken let me know at [email protected]… more - 📈Threadbear charting in a new countryUnited Arab Emirates
- 📦Threadbear updated to version 1.0.3A few bits since the last one:
- Dictate is back when you start a new thread, it sits next to Add a photo
- When an agent needs a password or a key it can ask for it on a private card, and it goes straight to your Mac
- Thread rows show where each thread got to, and say Waiting for connection when it's waiting on the internet
- Notion links in messages show up as little chips
- Threads with lots of pictures and GIFs use way less memory
Oh and tapping a notification could crash the app, sorry about that! That's fixed now.

- 📦Threadbear version 1.0.2A few things since last time:
- Pictures in your agents' replies show up now, GIFs and videos play too
- Star a thread to keep it at the top of the inbox
- Your agents' messages have their own card now, so it's easier to tell them from yours
Oh and some threads would crash the app when you opened them, and long ones could open on a blank screen, so those are both fixed (sorry about that!).

About Threadbear
This is the iPhone app for Threadbear, a Mac app I made for running Claude Code and Codex threads on my own subscriptions. The Mac does all the work, and this lets me keep an eye on it from the couch or when I'm out.
You get your inbox, with the threads that need you at the top, and the latest messages in each one. You can reply, approve or deny a command an agent wants to run, answer the questions it asks, and start a new thread in one of your folders. Threads you're done with for now can hibernate until later or go in the Den, the same as on the Mac. If your Mac's asleep, anything you send waits until it's back.
You need Threadbear running on a Mac to pair it with. The phone talks to the Convex deployment your Mac uses, with a sign in code you make on the Mac, and none of it comes to me. If you just want a look first, tap "Look around with sample threads" on the first screen.
It's my own tool and still pretty new, so if something's broken or confusing, email me at [email protected]. Hopefully you like it!
