About TinyGo: Baby Weather & Outfits
Little adventures start with getting ready.
TinyGo turns the forecast into a plan for your little one: what to dress them in, when to head outside, how to handle the sun and what to pack for a trip. From newborn to age 5.
WHAT TO WEAR, HOUR BY HOUR
Pick an hour and see a complete outfit for it: layers, hat, shoes and whatever the weather calls for, from a rain cover for the pushchair to mittens. Suggestions use the feels-like temperature, your child's age and the next two hours, so the outfit holds up for the whole walk. Nearly 50 illustrated pieces of clothing and accessories, plus a spare item to bring just in case.
WHEN TO GO
Every hour gets a rating and the reasons behind it: cold, wind, rain, UV or dusk. TinyGo finds the best window for a walk and suggests how long to stay out for your child's age.
SUGGESTIONS THAT LEARN YOUR CHILD
After a walk, mark whether your little one felt cold, just right or too warm. Cold a few times in a row? TinyGo adds a layer. Too warm? It takes one off. The outfit is built for your child, not an average one.
SUN, DONE RIGHT
The UV index on the WHO scale, the hours when protection is needed and tips that match your child's age: shade first for babies under 6 months, then a hat, sun cream and sunglasses as they grow.
PACK FOR A TRIP
Add a destination and dates. TinyGo pulls the forecast there, or last year's weather for dates further out, and builds a packing list by category, and not just clothes in the right counts for every day. Sleep: travel cot, sleeping bag, comfort toy. Hygiene, feeding and a first-aid kit. On the road: snacks and headphones for the flight, a bottle for take-off. Documents and insurance. Books and toys for the trip. Beach: swimsuit, swim nappies, sand toys. Tell it whether you're bringing a pushchair or a car seat and whether you can do laundry, and the list adjusts. Tick things off as you pack.
A LITTLE ALBUM
Save each walk as a postcard with the weather, the outfit, a note and how your child felt that day.
LITTLE IDEAS
A small idea for every walk that fits the weather: catch a snowflake on a mitten, hunt for an unusual leaf, listen to the rain on the hood. And ideas for home on days when it's better to stay in.
YOUR OWN LANDSCAPE
The weather lives in the header: the sun moves across the sky, clouds drift, rain and snow fall, just like outside your window. Pick one of 12 landscapes: park, forest, village, beach, mountains, lake, fjord, Japanese garden and more. Light and dark themes.
NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
No sign-up. Your child's profile, album and trips stay on your phone. Weather data by Apple Weather.
TinyGo offers general clothing and outdoor planning suggestions, not medical advice. Every child is different: check how they feel and adjust as needed.
