You drew it small. Now it has to go up big.
Everyone who paints walls knows the gap between a page in a sketchbook and a surface six metres wide. Letters that sat perfectly on paper drift out of proportion halfway up. The fill runs out two cans short. The colour that looked right in the book disappears into grey concrete.
Sketch Scale Plan closes that gap before you leave the house.
Bring in a scan of your page, or draw the piece straight into the app. Tell it the real height and width of the surface you have permission to paint. Your sketch lands on that wall in true proportion with a scaling grid over it, so you know where to chalk your marks and how big every square becomes at full size.
Then it counts your paint. The app reads the colours off your own drawing, works out how much of the piece each one covers, and turns that into a shopping list for the caps you actually carry. One trip to the shop instead of three — and no matching a shade from a different batch halfway through a fill.
Try the colourway before you buy it. Paint on a photo of the real surface with your finger, at the real width of your caps, and see how that green actually reads on red brick.
At the wall, work square by square. One cell fills the screen, you hold it to close it off, and the grid keeps your place while your hands are full.
And every finished piece makes the next one sharper. Log what really went up — the photos, the palette, the hours, the notes on what the surface did to your line — and the app learns from the gap between what it predicted and what you actually used. Brick drinks paint. Metal doesn't. After a few sessions the numbers stop being averages and start being yours.
