Tracery lays any picture over your paper so you can trace it with your own pencil. Pick a photo, turn it into a clean outline, and follow the lines on screen while you draw on a real sheet. Great for sketching pets and portraits, lettering, murals, crafts, and learning to draw.
THREE WAYS TO TRACE
- Camera: prop your phone above the paper on a glass or a stack of books. The steadiest way for long drawings.
- AR: pin the picture to your desk or a wall, then move around freely. See its real size as you resize it.
- Lightbox: lay thin paper over your iPhone or iPad screen and trace the glow.
TURN ANY PHOTO INTO A GUIDE
- Outline: clean lines that are easy to follow
- Pencil: a soft sketch with shading
- Ink: bold shapes of light and dark
- Photo: the picture itself, faded as much as you like
- Subject only: hide a busy background behind a person, pet or object
- Guide colors in graphite, red, blue or white, so you can tell the guide from your own lines
