Review momentum
20/100
faster than 0% of Travel apps
Review momentum (0-100) blends how fast the app collects ratings compared with other apps in its category (60%), whether that pace is speeding up (25%) and what recent raters give it (15%; recent stars well below lifetime pull it down). Ratings counts are read daily. A jump usually means a launch, a feature, ads or a new review prompt.
About tripDiary – Vanlife Journal
tripDiary is your travel diary for van life, road trips and family vacations. Photos, places, campsites and costs live in one app, and in the end it all becomes a photo book. Fully private, no account, no subscription. Buy it once, keep it forever.
New in 2.0: bring your past trips into your diary in a few minutes. A small question waits for you every day. And several trips turn into one photo book for the whole year.
Past trips, in your diary in 5 minutes
Hundreds of vacation photos sitting on your iPhone? tripDiary spots past trips by the date and place of your photos and suggests them to you, with dates, places and country flag. Tap "Create as trip" and your photos, days and places are sorted. Detection runs entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is changed.
One question a day
What made you laugh today? Which moment would you frame? Every travel day asks you one small question. One sentence is enough. That's how you collect the memories no photo shows, and later they get a page of their own in your photo book.
Your year as a photo book
Pick one trip or several, and tripDiary turns them into a photo book: cover, overview map with every route, table of contents, your answers to the daily questions and a statistics page for each trip. Choose from six styles, from a clean editorial look to a playful passport. Share or print the PDF however you like.
An entry in seconds
Create a trip, add photos, write a few lines, done. tripDiary pulls date and place straight from your photos. Import up to 500 shots at once, and whatever you shoot with the camera remembers where it happened.
Your route on the map
Every stop becomes part of a connected route on an interactive map, with colored icons for hikes, beaches, restaurants and sights. Save your home address and your outbound and return legs show up on their own.
Campsites you'll want to find again
Rating, price, amenities, surface and noise level, all in one place. The price per night goes straight into your travel costs.
Travel costs at a glance
Fuel, food, campsite, ferry: log expenses right inside the entry. The overview shows total cost, cost per day and the split by category.
Sit back
Watch your trip as a slideshow, fullscreen with gentle camera moves. Plus a world map of every country you visited, statistics and a personal Year in Review.
Freshly designed
A tidier home screen, every trip function at a glance, a new typeface and a new app icon. Text grows with your preferred text size.
Private stays private
Your trips belong to you. tripDiary keeps everything on your device and syncs through your own iCloud if you want. No account, no ads, no tracking of your content.
