About TrueCenter
Accurately measure how centered your trading card is before you send it off for grading.
TrueCenter measures the border margins on your card from a single photo and estimates the centering grade you can expect from the major grading companies: PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, TAG and ACE.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Take a photo of your card, or pick one from your library.
2. Place four points on the card's outer corners — TrueCenter auto-detects them and straightens the image.
3. Fine-tune the outer (card edge) and inner (artwork) border lines.
4. Optionally repeat for the back — several companies (including PSA and BGS) grade back centering too.
5. Get exact left/right and top/bottom ratios, plus the expected grade per company based on their published centering tolerances.
WHY IT HELPS
Centering is one of the most common reasons a card misses a 10. Check it yourself properly first to see which cards are worth submitting.
BUILT-IN GALLERY
Every scan is saved on your device with its photo and measurements, so you can compare cards side by side or revisit them later.
SURFACE MAP (BETA)
Reveal creases, dents and scratches invisible in a normal photo by combining a few shots of the same card lit from different directions.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your photos and scans stay on your device. No personal data is uploaded to any server.
Grading tolerances are guideline estimates for the centering criterion only. Final grades also depend on corners, edges and surface, and graders measure by eye — no grade is guaranteed. TrueCenter is not affiliated with or endorsed by PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, TAG, ACE or any grading company.
