About Uphill: Bowling Arcade Game
Uphill is a classic roll-ball arcade game in real-time 3D. Roll a wooden ball up the lane, take the jump at the top and land it in the rings.
LAND IT IN THE RINGS
Flick the ball up the maple lane. It leaves the end in the air and comes down on a board of tall rings laid out the way a real alley's are. The higher the ring, the more it scores: 50 at the top, and the 100s hide in the corners. Every ball rolls down into something. You get nine balls a game.
STEEPER BOARD, BIGGER BONUS
Fold the board up steeper for a bigger score multiplier, up to ×2.4, but a ball that misses its ring can bounce off the board and be lost. Lay it back for an easier target. The slope locks while a ball is rolling.
THE HINGE IS THE SLOPE
On iPhone Duo, stand the phone on a table like a small laptop and the angle of the raised half sets the slope. On iPad and every other iPhone a slider sets it, so everyone plays the same game.
A SECOND TABLE
Switch to Pockets in Settings and roll the ball up a ramp into glowing pockets instead. Each table keeps its own best score.
BIG ON IPAD
On iPad the machine fills the screen in any orientation, and keeps playing in Split View, Slide Over and Stage Manager. With a keyboard, Space rolls the ball.
A REAL ARCADE MACHINE
A lit marquee, LED score windows, a turned wooden ball that sounds like one and arcade lighting, rendered in real-time 3D.
• Two tables: Rings and Pockets
• A steeper board pays a bigger bonus
• Uses the iPhone Duo hinge as the slope
• Full screen on every iPad, in any orientation and window size
• Arcade sounds and haptics
• VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion support
• In 20 languages, down to the words and numbers on the machine
• No ads, no accounts and no tracking. Anonymous play statistics, which you can turn off in Settings.
