About Vread: Reading Challenge
Vread closes the gap: every 30 to 40 pages, one question about what you just read. One word is enough. Get it right, your pages are validated and your progress moves forward.
WHY
When our lives became sedentary, we started running. Now it's our attention that has gone sedentary. The workout already exists: reading. It was missing what made sport visible and motivating: milestones, a record, a streak, people to move forward with.
HOW IT WORKS
• Read your own book: print, e-reader or audio
• Every 30 to 40 pages, a checkpoint asks one question about the passage
• A one-word answer validates your pages
• Over 15,000 books available, in English and French
WHAT YOU GET
• Reading that moves forward before your eyes, step by step
• A streak that gives you a reason to open your book today
• Stats that count pages read, not pages claimed
• Weekly leagues and a Duo mode to read with others
• XP, levels and badges: every finished book leaves a mark
• Booky, the Vread fox, who cheers your wins and nudges you when you drift
Sport became visible, social and desirable once people could track it. Vread does the same for reading, which is why it is nicknamed the Strava of reading. Vread is an independent app and is not affiliated with Strava.
Over 22,000 readers have already validated more than 10 million pages.
Vread is free. The optional Premium subscription lets you, among other things, request books to be added to the catalogue.

About Vread: Reading Challenge
Our lives became sedentary, so we started running. Today, it’s our attention that’s becoming sedentary. The workout already exists: reading.
The problem is the reward. A video gives it to you in a second. A book might take a hundred pages.
Vread is a reading tracker designed to close that gap. You read your own book — in print, on an e-reader, or as an audiobook. Every 30 to 40 pages, a checkpoint asks you a question about what you’ve just read. The answer is a single word. Get it right, and your pages are validated.
A READING TRACKER THAT COUNTS WHAT YOU’VE ACTUALLY READ
Most reading apps track the pages you enter manually. Vread validates your progress, checkpoint by checkpoint.
Your pages read, reading streak, and reading stats are all based on validated pages.
WHAT YOU’LL FIND IN VREAD
• More than 8,500 books in English and French: novels, classics, and non-fiction
• A checkpoint every 30 to 40 pages, with a question taken from the book
• Your progress, pages read, and completed books
• A reading streak to help you read a little every day
• Reading stats based on validated pages
• XP, levels, and badges
• Weekly leagues where readers compete
• Duo Mode to read the same book as a friend
• Timed reading sessions
• Booky, the fox who cheers you on and keeps you going
WHO IT’S FOR
For anyone who wants to read more, actually finish their books, and rediscover the pleasure of getting lost in a story.
Exercise became visible, social, and desirable once we could track it. Vread does the same for reading — that’s why we call it the Strava of reading.
Vread is an independent app and is not affiliated with Strava.
More than 10,000 readers have already validated over 4.5 million pages.
Vread is free, with an optional Premium subscription.
Read. Validate. Progress.
