Wander: Markdown Editor

Tags work like folders. In the sidebar and in the Tags list, #work/clients sits under work. Open a tag with the arrow to see the tags under it. Tap a tag to list its notes, and a parent lists the notes of the tags under it too. A note tagged twice, in its text and in Finder, is listed once. On iPad you can drag a note from Files onto a tag to give it that tag. Long-press a note in a tag's list and choose Remove #tag to take it away. In Settings, Sidebar opens in, choose Tags to open a vault on its tags. The popups look like iPhone popups. The slash menu, the block and link menus, the pickers, the link card and the Add Link dialog wear one shape: the system material, the rounded corner, one row height, one button size. They stay out from under the keyboard and the bar, the dialogs sit centred, and the link card is the link's domain with Edit, Open and close. The start screen has the Mac's doors: New Note, Create a New Vault, Open a Folder, Open a Single File. Home, in the vault switcher and in the menu at the top right, brings you back to it with your recent vaults. Room at the sides. The text has Notes' margins on iPhone, so the drag handle on the left and the comment dots on the right can be tapped, on a long note too. Tables and diagrams. Select every cell of a table and Delete removes it, a whole column removes the column, a whole row removes the row. A new table opens with the cursor in its first cell. Mermaid, Typst and Excalidraw blocks can be typed into again, a new Mermaid block opens with the cursor in its source, and a typo shows one error line under the card. Also in this release: - Links to a heading land on the heading: [[Note#Heading]], [[#Heading]], and Bear's [[Note/Heading]] all work. - A note not yet on this device opens as downloading, never as an empty note, whichever cloud keeps the vault. - Delete is undoable everywhere. In a vault your cloud drive keeps for you, a note could not go to the Trash at all. Wander now keeps its own trash inside the vault for those, so Undo still brings the note back. - A formula right under a line of text draws as math. No blank line is needed above it. - A note that will not open now says why. It used to say only that it failed. - The editor comes back when iOS stops its page while you return from a widget or a shortcut. It could stay blank until you relaunched. - When a note's first heading no longer matches its name, a quiet band offers to rename it. The file moves only when you tap. - The outline reads the raw view too, and tapping a heading lands on that line. - Capture shows no destination switch when New Note is the only place a capture can go. - Today and Inbox stay off until you turn them on in Settings, Features. - On iPad with a keyboard, Open Folder keeps Cmd-O to itself. - The feedback form says why Send is off: add an email to hear back, or send anonymously.
