Watch Reader: Web & Articles downloads
Worldwide, per day, and installs to date. The band is open; the exact number is free with an account.
How this is calculated
Apple publishes no download counts. App Store downloads come from chart positions and daily rating growth per country, calibrated on Google Play install counts; lifetime installs from ratings worldwide × installs per rating. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.
Active users
All platforms, worldwide. Free with an account.
Stickiness (DAU / MAU)
how many monthly users open it on a given day
How this is calculated
Monthly users come from lifetime installs across every store, fitted on monthly active user figures companies publish; daily users = monthly × the typical daily/monthly ratio for the category. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.

About Watch Reader: Web & Articles
Watch Reader turns web pages into clean, crown-scrollable text on your Apple Watch. Save pages to read later, open saved pages offline, and search the web to find the next article. Open any article, see three key points up top, and read it at a size made for the wrist.
READER
• Open any article as crisp, large text sized for the watch. No zooming, no tiny links.
• Key points: three sentences picked on your wrist from the page itself, so you get the gist in seconds.
• Adjustable text size on top of your system text size.
READING LIST, OFFLINE
• Tap the bookmark (or double-tap) to save a page. It stays readable with no connection.
• Unread pages are marked, and you can refresh a saved copy whenever you are back online.
ASK BY VOICE
• Ask Siri to open a favourite site or a recent page, to read a site, or to search the web.
• Ask what is on your reading list; it answers right away, even offline.
• Hear the key points of any saved page.
SMART STACK AND WATCH FACES
• Reading List and Quick Search widgets put your saved pages and search one tap from your watch face or Smart Stack.
SEARCH THE WEB
• Type a site like bbc.com and it opens directly, or search with Google, DuckDuckGo or Bing.
• Quick links, favourites and recent pages one tap away.
• Private by design: pages open in a private session and nothing leaves your watch.
A NEW LOOK
A complete redesign with hand-drawn accents and living orbs that show when Watch Reader is fetching, reading or saving. Big, high-contrast buttons, double-tap support, and calmer motion when Reduce Motion is on.
Watch Reader runs on your Apple Watch without your phone nearby.
