About Weather Gnome: Cozy Forecast
Every forecast deserves a gnome.
Free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. The Home Screen widget is never locked behind a paywall.
Weather Gnome tells you the weather the way a storybook would: a watercolor gnome greets you in every city, dressed for the sky outside, reading by candlelight on cloudy nights, sipping tea in the London rain, stargazing when the stars are out.
A SKY THAT'S ALIVE
Rain streaks past, snow drifts, stars twinkle, and fireflies wander the night. At sunrise and sunset, the whole sky turns to golden hour.
THE GNOME ALBUM
Every gnome you see is "befriended" and added to your collection: 247 to discover across weather, seasons, day and night… and a few that only appear in special places around the world. Can you find them all?
REAL WEATHER, TOLD GENTLY
Current conditions, feels-like, hourly and 7-day forecasts, wind, humidity, and precipitation. Accurate to each city's own clock and timezone, with sunrise whispers like "The sun returns in 3h 23m."
SHARE THE MAGIC
Send today's gnome to a friend as a beautiful storybook card.
• Up to 10 cities, with a "Surprise Me" button for wanderers
• °F / °C, chosen automatically for your region
• Gentle by design: calm animations, full Reduce Motion support
• No accounts. No ads. No tracking. Your location is used only to fetch your local forecast.
Weather data by Apple Weather. Crafted in the depths of the enchanted forest.

Three Halloween visitors, a way to share your gnome, and a small ask.
• From October 25 to November 1, three new gnomes stop by: a pumpkin carver on dry days, a jack-o'-lantern keeper at night, and a trick-or-treater when it rains. They stay in your album afterwards.
• Sharing today's gnome now sends a link and a hashtag along with the card, so a friend can find the app.
• If you keep the Home Screen widget, the app may ask once for a rating after a few days. It never asks on the first day, and never twice for the same version.
