Review momentum
70/100
faster than 80% of Health & Fitness apps
Review momentum (0-100) blends how fast the app collects ratings compared with other apps in its category (60%), whether that pace is speeding up (25%) and what recent raters give it (15%; recent stars well below lifetime pull it down). Ratings counts are read daily. A jump usually means a launch, a feature, ads or a new review prompt.
About Yamigen Calorie Tracker
Yamigen is a calorie counter and food diary that fits the way you eat. Take a photo of your plate or describe your meal in a few words, and get accurate calorie and macro estimates for home-cooked, takeout and packaged food.
LOG A MEAL IN SECONDS
No scrolling through long food lists and no weighing every ingredient. Type "2 scrambled eggs, 1 slice of toast, coffee with milk" or "1 cup chili and a side salad", and Yamigen estimates the calories, protein, carbs and fat so you can add the meal to your log. Prefer a picture? Snap a photo of your meal instead.
YOUR DAILY CALORIE TARGET
Enter your age, sex, height, weight, activity level and goal, and Yamigen sets your daily calorie target. Lose weight, maintain or gain: choose a weekly pace and see about when you'll reach your goal weight.
US UNITS AND AMERICAN FOOD
Pounds, feet and inches, fluid ounces and cups throughout the app. Meal plans and recipes use American foods and measurements, with oven temperatures in °F.
YAMIGO, YOUR NUTRITION ASSISTANT
Tell Yamigo your diet type, how many meals you eat a day, foods you avoid and any allergies or intolerances. Get a weekly meal plan built around your calorie target, and ask questions like "What can I eat tonight?" or "How am I doing this week?"
60 DIET RECIPES AND A RECIPE GENERATOR
Breakfasts, salads and bowls, dinners, soups and chili, snacks and lighter desserts, each with a photo, ingredients, step-by-step instructions, and calories and macros per serving. Type the ingredients you have or a dish you're craving, and get a recipe that fits your remaining calories, or a general one. The recipe generator checks the allergies you set in Yamigo.
WATER AND ACTIVITY
Your daily water goal is based on your weight and the activities you log. Choose a glass size from 8 to 20 fl oz, log a glass with one tap and set reminders every hour, every 2 hours or three times a day. Describe a walk, a run, a swim or your step count to estimate the calories you burned.
TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
See your weight and calorie balance on weekly, monthly and yearly charts, and how far you are from your goal weight.
