YGen: AI Thumbnail Maker

You have the video idea. Give it a thumbnail that feels like your channel.

YGen helps you create and refine YouTube thumbnails with AI, from the first concept to the image you save and share.

START WITH AN IDEA
Describe the scene, mood and headline you want. Choose a horizontal or vertical format and generate up to three variations to compare.

MAKE IT YOURS
Add your own photo or a visual reference. Use Character mode to place your subject in a new thumbnail concept. Import a YouTube thumbnail as a starting point for your own design.

REFINE WITH WORDS
Ask for changes to the text, background, colors or composition. Keep useful versions together in your gallery and return to them when you need a new direction.

GET PAST THE BLANK PAGE
Brainstorm concepts and titles with the creative assistant. Review AI feedback on your thumbnail's visual clarity and composition. AI feedback is guidance, not a prediction of views or click-through rate.

SAVE AND SHARE
Keep your creations in one gallery, save them to Photos or share them from your iPhone. Built for gaming, travel, podcasts, tutorials, reviews and channels without an on-camera host.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
A paid subscription is required for image generation and editing. Starter and Creator include sparks; each generated or edited image uses sparks. See the app for current prices and allowances. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple account settings. No free trial is included.

Use photos and reference material you have permission to use. YGen is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
