Terry and his sister Mireille lived happily together, but one night, Mireille is kidnapped by someone. Suddenly, a spirit named Watabou appears before him, and guided by him, Terry steps into the mysterious world of "Taiju Kingdom."
Taiju Kingdom is in the midst of preparations for the upcoming "Starfall Tournament," a festival for monster masters. Hearing the legend that "any wish will be granted" to the winner, Terry decides to participate in the Starfall Tournament as a representative of Taiju Kingdom in order to rescue Mireille.
