[ENGINE SOUNDS THAT RESPOND TO YOUR SETTINGS]

These aren't just recordings played back at different speeds. Developed with Sound Design Lab, the audio combines individual firing pulses, engine-order tones, and random sound components, synthesized in real time as the engine runs.

Change cylinder count or ignition timing and the engine note changes too.
For example, take an even-firing inline-four's smooth, high-revving scream and change the firing setup to hear the deeper, distinctive uneven-firing note associated with the crossplane crankshaft in Yamaha's YZF-R1.
