About Al-Quran | Beginner Quran
Al-Quran is your complete companion for reading the Quran, whether you are a lifelong believer, a new convert, or picking up the Arabic script for the first time. The full Quran, tafsir, over 60 reciters, a planner for reading and memorizing, and on-device AI search come together in one beautifully simple app that is completely free, ad free, and private.
MEMORIZE AND REVISE
- Quran Planner: pick a finish date for your khatm, and a daily amount that adjusts itself when you miss a day.
- A Revision plan for the surahs you know: a juz range or chosen surahs, revised every few days.
- Test Mode hides the text until you tap, so you can recite from memory and check each ayah.
- Streaks, a weekly chart, and reminders keep you on pace.
THE COMPLETE QURAN
- Read by Surah, Juz, or page, as a scrolling ayah list or a mushaf, with two pages side by side in landscape.
- Arabic text, transliteration, and translation side by side, with color coded tajweed in colors you can choose.
- Tafsir for any ayah: Ibn Kathir, Maarif Ul Quran, and Tazkirul Quran in English, plus Ibn Kathir, al-Tabari, and as-Sa'di in Arabic, saved offline.
- Word Study: tap any word twice for its meaning, grammar, root, and every place it appears.
- Hafs and nineteen more riwayat of the Ten Qiraat, compared side by side in the Qiraat Explorer.
- Find any verse by Surah:Ayah (like 5:27), page, Juz, keyword, or meaning, from wherever you are reading.
- Similar Ayahs, Browse by Theme, a Word of the Day, bookmarks, and notes on any ayah.
LISTEN
- Over 60 reciters and qiraat, with full Surah and verse by verse playback and offline downloads.
- Play From Ayah to the end of the page, surah, juz, or the whole Quran, or Repeat Forever.
- Resume anywhere with your last read and last listened Surah and ayah.
ON-DEVICE AI SEARCH
- Search the Quran by meaning, not just keywords: "patience in hardship" finds ayahs about sabr.
- With Apple Intelligence, Ask AI answers citing only the ayahs it shows, never a religious ruling.
DAILY REMINDERS AND LEARNING
- Today: the ayah, word, dua, and Name of the day, a daily reminder card, Sunnah Reminders, and a journal.
- Learn the Arabic alphabet with a 21-level Reading Test, and tajweed with a 58-lesson course.
- Authenticated adhkar, Hisn al-Muslim, and dua collections with sources and audio, plus a tasbih counter.
- The 99 Names in depth, Miracles of the Quran, Proving Islam, How-To Guides, and the Pillars of Islam and Faith.
MADE YOUR WAY
- Simple Mode keeps the essentials on screen. Switch to Full any time.
- Customize text sizes, Arabic fonts, and accent colors, with a search on every settings page.
- Widgets for the Ayah of the Day, any ayah you choose, your last read ayah, and your last listened surah.
