About Blood Oxygen SpO2 for Watch
Blood Oxygen Tracker turns your Apple Watch and fingertip pulse oximeter
readings into clear answers: your SpO2 trends, your nights, and alerts
when your oxygen level drops below your threshold.
IMPORTANT: an iPhone alone cannot measure blood oxygen — and we will
never pretend it can. You'll need an Apple Watch (Series 6 or later) or
any pulse oximeter. No device yet? You can still log readings manually
and estimate your heart rate with the camera.
SEE WHAT YOUR APPLE WATCH KNOWS
• Every blood oxygen reading from Apple Health in one dashboard
• On US watches, SpO2 is buried in the Health app — we surface it, with
trends, stats and a Today widget
• Works with readings from any oximeter that syncs to Apple Health
(or log a reading manually in 5 seconds)
SLEEP & OVERNIGHT OXYGEN
• See what happens to your O2 while you sleep: overnight graph, minimum,
average, and time below your threshold
• Morning summary after every night with Watch sleep readings
LOW OXYGEN ALERTS
• Set your own threshold (e.g. 92%) and get notified when newly synced
readings fall below it
• Honest by design: alerts fire when your Watch syncs new data — we tell
you exactly how fresh every reading is
HEART RATE & MORE
• Estimate your heart rate with the iPhone camera using your fingertip
(photoplethysmography) — clearly an estimate, not a medical measurement
• Guided box breathing to slow down and refocus
• Tag readings with meds, oxygen therapy flow, altitude or symptoms —
built with COPD and sleep-focused users in mind
DOCTOR-READY REPORTS
• Export a clean PDF your doctor will actually read: date range, stats,
distribution, % of time under threshold, tagged context
• Data stays on your device and in Apple Health — private by default
Blood Oxygen Tracker is designed for general wellness and information
purposes. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease and is not
a substitute for professional medical advice. Normal SpO2 is typically
95–100%; if you feel unwell or readings concern you, talk to a doctor.
Premium subscription unlocks full history, overnight views, alerts and
PDF reports. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account; subscriptions
renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of
the period. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings. Terms: oxygenlog.com/terms
