We blend global weather models (ECMWF, GFS, ICON) with regional ones (Arome HD, Icon CH1) freshly for every spot. Which mix works on site is something the community's session feedback tells us. And where every model is blind, our machine learning steps in.

A newly added spot starts with a well-founded estimate. With every wind report and every rating of a forecast it learns — and gets more accurate the more people ride there. You're not improving the forecast for us, but for yourself and everyone who sails the same lake.

WIND SHADOW

Our physics-based terrain model calculates, for every spot and every wind direction, how mountains, forests and buildings weaken the wind — so you know when a spot really works and when the forecast only looks good on paper.

HOW GOOD WILL THE SESSION BE

Instead of raw wind figures you see the best time window for each day and how good it will be — from "fair" to "epic". And because a day often has more than one window, morning thermals and an afternoon build-up, you get all of them.

What's waiting for you at the spot is explained by the AI in plain language — with a warning when things get tricky.
