About Bring a Sword: Action RPG
Bring a Sword is a dungeon-crawling action RPG built for iPhone and played in portrait. You fight with two thumbs: a stick to move, buttons to strike, dodge and cast. You come home with your pockets full.
GO DOWN, COME BACK RICHER
Fight your way from a tollgate on the old road, through burial fields, a bone archive, a furnace that never went out, a flooded pumpworks and a cathedral still holding one long note, to the old king's spire at the end of it all. Every region has its own enemies, its own camp and a boss at the end with a signature move of its own. Bosses hit hard and telegraph honestly: read the wind-up, step out of it and punish the opening.
LOOT THAT CHANGES HOW YOU PLAY
Enemies drop gear in rising rarities, each piece rolled with its own affixes. Legendaries do more than add numbers: they change what your abilities do. Collect a class set and it rewrites your build. Sell what you outgrow, break the rest down for Scrap, and spend your gold at the camp merchants, including a sealed Unmarked Crate of gear at your level, paid for with gold you earned on the road.
PICK YOUR WAY TO FIGHT
The Warrior guards, builds Rage and answers with a riposte. The Mage commits to huge casts and lives with the consequences. The Hunter sets traps, marks targets and vaults clear when it goes wrong. Each class has a skill tree that changes how its abilities behave, not just how hard they hit. Keep separate heroes in separate save slots and try them all.
A STORY WORTH HEARING
The road is told by the people still holding it: a salvager who prices everything, a quartermaster still issuing kit in a flooded works, and a few who should have left long ago. The story is voiced, with subtitles on by default, and every scene can be skipped.
YOUR RULES FOR DYING
Adventure forgives: fall and a rite brings you back. Run out of rites and the region resets, but you keep your level and your gear. One Life does not forgive: when the rites are gone, so is the hero.
THE RING
When the campaign is done, or whenever you want a break from it, take your hero into the Ring for the Endless Trial. Wave after wave, it keeps getting worse, and it pays out in gear and titles.
PREMIUM, OFFLINE, YOURS
- Pay once. No ads, no in-app purchases, no energy timers, no account.
- Plays fully offline. Your save lives on your phone.
- Comfort settings: separate volumes for music, effects and voice, camera shake and haptics controls, subtitles, a left-handed control swap and larger text.
