About Calmino: GPX Navigation
VOICE GUIDANCE
• Every waymark is announced as you approach it, even with the screen locked, with a tone that cuts through wind and helmet.
• Music dips for one sentence, then carries on.
• A track with no waypoints? Calmino places its own, where the trail actually turns.
READABLE IN FULL SUN
• A navigation mode designed for the outdoors: maximum contrast, heavy type, nothing to distract you.
• The map turns with you, not locked to north.
• Distance, time remaining, next waymark: all at a glance.
• Slope in colours: climb, flat, descent.
NEVER LOST
• Off-route alert: how far, where you left the track, and the way back.
• Offline maps, one per track, downloaded before you leave.
• Navigation resumes on its own after a call, a restart or a flat battery.
• The position dot never cheats: if you are beside the trail, it shows you beside the trail.
A WORKSHOP FOR TRACKS
• Draw an outing on the map: the line follows real paths, elevation included.
• Snap a sketchy GPX back onto the trails, in a single tap.
• Edit the line, the waymarks, names and notes; trim the GPS tails off a recording.
• Reverse direction with one button.
• Record your outings and drop waymarks as you go.
BIKE, E-BIKE, ON FOOT, SKIS, RUNNING
• Six activity profiles. Time remaining accounts for the climb ahead, then settles on your actual pace.
YOUR FILES STAY YOURS
• Standard GPX, on your iPhone: import, export, share.
• No account. No subscription. No ads. No tracking.
Interface and voice guidance in 18 languages, with turn call-outs phrased the way each country's navigation speaks. Kilometres or miles.
Calmino doesn't do everything. It does the Sunday outing, properly.
