About Drone Study Guide
Build understanding for the US FAA Part 107 remote-pilot knowledge pathway with focused practice you can use offline.
Drone Study Guide includes 157 reviewed, independently written questions across regulations, airspace, weather, loading and performance, and operations. Each question includes an explanation and a primary-source link for further reading.
PRACTICE WITH PURPOSE
• Choose question counts by topic
• Study answers and explanations at your own pace
• Review correct and missed answers after a session
• Track topic progress locally on your device
• Resume an unfinished practice session
• Work through original diagrams and calculation examples
• Use optional per-question timing, with untimed practice by default
Questions, explanations and diagrams are bundled for offline use. Opening external source links requires a connection. No account is needed.
KNOW THE CURRENT PATHWAY
The in-app guide explains initial certification versus recurrent training, the current UAG test format and topic weights, and the FAA's announced October 26, 2026 chart-image change. Operational content includes night flights, operations over people, Remote ID and registration distinctions, reviewed against FAA sources in October 2026.
CLEAR STUDY LIMITS
This is customizable topic practice, not a blueprint-weighted official mock exam. Its optional per-question timer does not reproduce the official aggregate exam clock. The three original diagrams are simplified training schematics, not navigation charts. Use current sectional charts, Chart Supplement entries and full FAA study materials alongside this selective question bank.
INDEPENDENT STUDY SUPPORT
This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FAA. It contains no official examination questions, does not issue a remote pilot certificate, provide flight instruction, replace TRUST or satisfy recurrent training, and does not guarantee a pass. Actual flight decisions require current regulations, applicable authorizations and aircraft-specific guidance.
