eBikeDataLink connects a compatible Bosch Smart System eBike to your Garmin, with your iPhone linking the two during your ride.
USE YOUR EBIKE AS A POWER METER
Send the rider power and cadence measured by your bike to a compatible Garmin. In Power Meter mode, your iPhone acts as a Bluetooth power sensor that you pair in Garmin’s sensor settings. See and record your pedalling effort in Garmin’s native power and cadence fields.
VIEW YOUR BIKE DATA ON GARMIN
Choose Connect IQ mode to see available bike data in the companion eBikeLink data field: battery, estimated range, assistance mode, rider power and cadence.
TWO SEPARATE CONNECTION MODES
Choose Power Meter or Connect IQ in the app and follow the setup instructions. Power Meter mode requires disabling the Garmin phone connection. Connect IQ mode uses Garmin Connect on your iPhone and the companion eBikeLink data field. The two modes work separately.
WHAT YOU NEED
• A compatible Bosch Smart System eBike. Available measurements depend on the bike, equipment and firmware.
• A Garmin that supports Bluetooth power sensors for Power Meter mode, or the eBikeLink Connect IQ data field for Connect IQ mode.
• Your iPhone with you throughout the ride, with Bluetooth enabled. Do not force-close the app.
Training metrics depend on your Garmin device and its activity requirements. Compatibility and reconnection behavior vary by configuration. The app does not change your bike’s motor assistance settings. Range estimates are approximate.
Need help? Run the in-app diagnostic and choose to share the report with support. Connection analytics are optional.
