Fire Alarm 3D Learning Studio

FireAlarm3D is the most comprehensive interactive fire alarm and life safety reference available on iOS. Built around a fully rendered 3D model of a three-story commercial office building with transparent walls, every major system is visible simultaneously — smoke detectors, heat detectors, sprinklers, FACP, SLC wiring, notification appliances, egress systems, and suppression risers — all tap-accessible with NFPA code references, inspection intervals, and failure modes.
New in Version 2.0:
Alarm Sequence Simulator — Watch a real, step-by-step animated simulation of a complete alarm event: incipient fire detection, FACP processing, alarm verification, NAC activation, sprinkler waterflow, DACT transmission to the monitoring station, stairwell pressurization, and fire department arrival. Each step includes a detailed technical description and the exact NFPA code section that governs it. Auto-play or step through manually at your own pace.
NFPA Code Navigator — A fully searchable, structured browser of NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) and NFPA 13 (Sprinkler Systems) covering chapters on Fundamentals, Circuits & Pathways, Initiating Devices, Notification Appliances, ITM, Supervising Station Systems, and Sprinkler Design. Each article includes code text, applicable section number, and device tags so you can filter by topic.
Core Features:

Interactive 3D SceneKit scene — tap any device to see its name, NFPA reference, function, inspection interval, and common failure modes
System visibility filters — show or hide Initiating Devices, Notification Appliances, Suppression, Egress & Lighting, Control Panels, or Emergency Power independently
Zone highlighting — illuminate Zone 1, 2, or 3 across all floors simultaneously
Live wiring overlay — trace SLC loops and NAC circuit paths through the building
Alarm animation mode — all notification appliances pulse simultaneously to simulate an active alarm
Learning Hub with 10 training modules: Alarm Simulator, Code Navigator, NFPA Quiz, Glossary, Guided Tour, Fault Simulator, Battery Load Calculator, Violations Reference, Inspection Checklist, and App Guide
66-image reference gallery covering fire science, FACP wiring, suppression systems, duct detectors, egress, testing procedures, and troubleshooting
Reference documents: Floor Plan, Riser Diagram, System Legend, Operation Matrix, Calculation Sheets, and Equipment Schedule
ITM Inspection Checklist — 60 items organized by frequency (weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual) with pass/fail/N-A tracking and a live summary report

Designed for fire alarm technicians, AHJs, inspectors, fire protection engineers, contractors, and students preparing for NICET, FPE, or other fire protection certifications. Dark Mode only. Supports iPhone and iPad in portrait and landscape.
