What users say about FramePull Pro
From recent reviews.
About FramePull Pro
FramePull finds every cut in your video and pulls stills, clips and GIFs out of it —
right on your iPhone or iPad.
Load a video from your library or from Files. FramePull analyses every single frame and
marks each cut on the timeline, frame-exact, with no drift. Too many cuts, or too few?
Sensitivity has three settings, and you can re-run detection at any time.
MARK WITH YOUR THUMB
IN, STILL and OUT as large buttons. Markers snap onto the nearest cut when you are close
to one, and the OUT point lands exactly one frame before it, so the cut frame never ends
up inside your clip. Order does not matter: IN then OUT, or OUT then IN.
GENERATE IN ONE TAP
One tap turns the detected cuts into a still per scene, placed in the middle of each.
Clips can span one, two, three or four scenes, so you get short sequences that keep their
cuts instead of being chopped apart by them.
SWIPE INSTEAD OF TICKING BOXES
Everything you marked comes back as a card deck. Swipe right to keep, left to delete.
Stills show the exact frame; clips loop right there in the card.
BUILD GRIDS FOR STORIES
Arrange stills and clips into a 1x1 up to 3x2 grid at 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 or 16:9. Auto Fill
picks a set for you and lays it out in timeline order; tap Re-roll for a different set.
Pan and pinch inside any cell to reframe it. Grids of stills render as JPEG, and any grid
containing a clip renders as video — 2160x3840 for 9:16.
EXPORT
Stills as JPEG, PNG or TIFF. Clips as MP4 from 480p to 4K, muted if you like. GIFs too.
Add 4:5 and 9:16 crops for feed and story.
Save straight to your photo library, or into a folder of your choice in Files, sorted
into stills, gifs and videos.
NO INTERNET, NO ACCOUNT
Everything happens on your device. No uploads, no cloud, no account, no subscription.
BUY ONCE, USE EVERYWHERE
FramePull for Mac is included in the same purchase. The Mac version additionally offers

Latest updates
1.1
Version 1.1 needs iOS 26.
NEW
• Open several videos at once (up to 20 from Photos, or several from Files) as one timeline. Each file boundary counts as a cut.
• Your work is saved automatically. Leave the app and carry on later. Settings > Saved work shows what is kept and can delete it.
• Bigger video: Auto-generate moved to the top bar, the marking buttons are slimmer, and your stills and clips sit just below. Scroll up or tap the bar to see them.
• Touch and hold any still or clip to copy it, save it to Photos, or delete it. Clips can be copied as a small MP4 or a small GIF, ready to paste into a chat.
• Grids can include photos and videos from Photos or Files, not just your marked frames.
• "Require face, in focus" for auto-generated stills.
• Snap now has a magnet button with an adjustable strength, and is stronger by default.
• "Keep face centered (auto)" for the 4:5 and 9:16 crops.
• Choose whether exports to Files create FramePull folders or go straight into the folder you pick.
• The video pauses when you open Review, Grids or Export.
IMPROVED
• Smoother scrubbing: the picture follows your finger on long 4K clips.
• Thumbnails of auto-generated marks now always load.
• Exports match your source: original resolution, frame rate, codec and colour (HDR stays HDR).
• Looped clip previews never flash a frame of the next shot.
