See what is in your head before the scissors go in.

The order is the same as a real cut. Decide a section on the head model, set the elevation and the length, then add weight and let it fall. The layers and the outline become easy to picture.

■ Take sections
The head model is divided into 5 zones and 55 sections: nape, occipital, side, crown and top. Touch to select, slide to select several at once. Each zone can be shown, dimmed or hidden, so you can focus on the one area you are working on. Choosing a zone moves the view to the angle where that zone reads best. The zone and section models will keep being updated at no extra cost.

■ Set length and elevation
Elevation, direction and cutting angle — set them from the control panel or with your finger. When a section matches its neighbour in length, the app tells you, so you can match on purpose or offset on purpose. Over-direction to a single point is supported. Once the length and angle are set, you can turn the head and check from any side.

■ Let it fall
Add gravity and you can watch the hair take on weight and fall. Texture control is there too, to make the real cut easier to picture: it shortens the ends at random for a look closer to the finished result.

■ Save and compare
Name a design and save it, then bring it back any time. Everything stays on your device and nothing is sent anywhere. Even with little time, you can shape your design a bit at a time.
