About Homemade Drawings
A drawing pad made for small hands and big ideas.
Open it and there is a shelf of pictures and a big button for a new page. Tap it and the whole screen becomes paper. No menus to learn, no account to make, nothing to unlock: just draw.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX
• Pencil, marker, paint, glow and spray, each with its own styles. Hold a brush to see how else it can draw.
• A soft eraser that paints paper back on.
• A sticker sheet of faces, animals, weather, food and more. Pick a colour and a size, tap the page, and each one lands with its own little tilt.
• Shapes that come out of a drag: lines, boxes, circles, triangles, stars, hearts and arrows, outlined or filled in.
• A writing tool to sign a picture or give it a name.
• Mirror, four-ways and mandala symmetry, so one stroke becomes a pattern.
• Coloured paper, from cream to midnight blue, and glow that really glows on the dark ones.
• Photos from your library placed on the page and drawn over.
• Pinch to zoom in for the fiddly bits.
• Undo that takes back one thing at a time, even clearing the whole page.
FOR GROWN-UPS
Pictures are saved as they are drawn and kept on the shelf, ready to be finished another day, renamed, or shared as an image. Settings, sharing and throwing a picture away sit behind a grown-up gate (a quick times-table sum) so small hands stay on the page. It can be switched off for older children. The app speaks nine languages and switches between them on the spot.
