About MobileConf mobile
Prepare Apple configuration profiles directly on your iPhone or iPad.
MobileConf mobile helps family administrators and administrators choose settings deliberately, review them and share a .mobileconfig file for manual installation.
YOUR PROFILES IN ONE PLACE
Three tabs lead to Profile (Profiles), Chat and Einstellungen (Settings). Profile brings together your current draft, saved profiles and templates. No family or organization mode is needed: all manually available features are accessible together.
CREATE LOCALLY
Start with a template or the menu editor. The shared Apple catalog includes classic profile payloads, local Apple configurations and additional profile properties. It filters by receiving platform, OS version and manual installation. Wi-Fi, DNS and restrictions also have guided inputs where the target permits them. Use field references, typed inputs or advanced JSON for further settings. MDM, supervision, Shared iPad and enrollment configurations are excluded.
REVIEW BEFORE SHARING
The app checks structure, field types, values and references against bundled definitions. Incomplete drafts can be edited, but export requires a complete successful check. Review all included values. Save the file to Files or use the native Share Sheet. Confirm installation separately on the receiving device.
DRAFTS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE
Explicitly save drafts in the encrypted local library. Wi-Fi passwords from the guided editor are not saved. Credentials in other local fields can remain encrypted in a draft when you choose to save it. The library does not sync between devices and is excluded from backups.
OPTIONAL MOBILECONF CHAT
Open the Chat tab and describe your goal. MobileConf uses Apple's Private Cloud Compute. The assistant can suggest a profile name, ask follow-up questions and revise the draft as you give further instructions. Chat and menu use the same target-filtered manual catalog. Review the latest proposal and explicitly adopt it into the menu. Missing passwords, keys or certificate data appear as local tasks. Enter them only there; export stays blocked until completion.
Sending transmits chat text, conversation context, selected target facts, schema information and local validation results to Apple. Menu settings and the library are not automatically attached. Do not enter passwords, certificate data, tokens or personal data in chat; automatic redaction is not promised. Switching tabs preserves history for the current app session. A new chat or confirmed context change resets it. The local editor works without chat.
IMPORTANT LIMITS
Profiles are unsigned and unencrypted and may contain readable credentials. Share them only with authorized recipients. The app does not automatically sign or install profiles and provides no MDM service. Passing a schema check does not guarantee an effect on every target device. Test profiles before production use. Profiles do not replace Screen Time or Family Sharing and do not guarantee tamper-proof par
