Latest updates
0.6.1
NEW
• Scan words from photos: Snap a page, menu, or screen, or pick a photo, and the app finds the words in it. Tap the ones you want to learn and add them to your notebooks in one go. Words already in your library are skipped automatically.
• Furigana for Japanese: Hiragana readings appear above Japanese words on iPhone, Mac, and Apple TV. Turn them on or off in Language Settings.
• Share word cards: Turn any word into a card in Aqua, Coral, Lime, or Violet, then share it or save it to Photos.
IMPROVED
• A redesigned manual import flow makes adding words quicker.
• Furigana also appears while importing, including from the Share extension and Translate.
• Japanese words are saved in their dictionary form (行きます becomes 行く). Particles, numbers, and readings in brackets are filtered out.
• The app download is smaller.
