Plus42 downloads
Worldwide, per day, and installs to date. The band is open; the exact number is free with an account.
How this is calculated
Apple publishes no download counts. iPhone downloads come from chart positions and daily rating growth per country, calibrated on Google Play install counts; lifetime installs from ratings worldwide × installs per rating. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.

How this is calculated
Monthly users come from lifetime installs across every store, fitted on monthly active user figures companies publish; daily users = monthly × the typical daily/monthly ratio for the category. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.

About Plus42
Plus42 is an advanced scientific programmable calculator, based on Free42. Free42, in turn, is a complete re-implementation of the HP-42S scientific programmable RPN calculator, which was made from 1988 until 1995 by Hewlett-Packard. Free42 is a complete rewrite and contains no HP code whatsoever.
Plus42 builds on Free42 and adds: Algebraic expressions modeled after those used on the HP-27S and HP-17B/19B; attached units and unit conversions modeled after those used on the HP-48/49/50 series; directories for more organized storage of programs and variables; a larger display, with 8 rows and 22 columns (131x64 pixels) by default, which the user may resize at will; time value of money and amortization schedules; and two-dimensional plotting of functions, with ability to zoom and pan, and find integrals and roots from points in the plot.

Latest updates
1.4.1
PRTRACE fixes and improvements.
1.4
Implemented try/catch style error handling: TRY, TRYX, CATCH?, PRTRACE. See the Free42 web site for details.
RTNERR and RAISE support five additional error numbers; see the Free42 web site for details.
Keyboard mapping now uses a platform-independent syntax. The existing keymap.txt is renamed to keymap.old, and a new keymap.txt is created, using the new syntax. All the skins in the Plus42 skins collection that contain keyboard mappings have been updated to take advantage of the new syntax, but the old syntax is also still supported, but only in skins, not in keymap.txt.
Direct XEQ mapping: Skins can now define macros that perform an XEQ that works regardless of which menu is active, using the syntax `FOO` to perform XEQ "FOO".
Implemented MENU1: This works just like MENU, i.e. it opens the Programmable Menu, except MENU1 opens the menu as an application menu, rather than as a regular menu. This means that MENU1 allows users to interact with command menus without losing their place in the programmable menu.
Flag 33 is now automatically cleared whenever a non-programmable-menu key is pressed. This can be used to implement VARMENU-like behavior using the programmable menu.
Implemented IP→S, a function that converts the integer part of a number to a string, like AIP, except the string is placed in the X register, not ALPHA.
Fixed NORM/TRACE output for programmable menu.
Added keyboard shortcut for Show Print-Out.
Windows and MacOS versions: When a skin is selected that is too large to fit on the screen, it is now automatically scaled down to fit, while preserving its aspect ratio.
1.3.15
Fixed RLN and RRN for negative numbers in BSIGNED mode.
