What users say about Sci-Fi Keyboard
From the 6 most recent App Store reviews in the US.
Users appreciate the aesthetic design but report significant technical issues including lag, glitches, and broken features on newer iOS versions. Several reviewers indicate that themes fail to apply correctly and auto-correct functions are non-operational.
Mostly positive (83% of recent reviews give 4–5 stars). People like it for working reliably, and speed. Recent reviews are more negative than earlier ones.
What people like
- Crashes & bugs: “Auto correct doesn’t work”
- Speed & performance: “Really want to use this, but it glitches half the time I open the keyboard, and is too slow all of the time”
About Sci-Fi Keyboard
Includes:
• 20 preset themes
• 81 background images (or use your own photos)
• 44 animated GIF backgrounds
• 50 key styles (or blank)
• 35 fonts + default
• Set 6 typing sounds (160 to choose from)
• 50+ Languages/keyboard layouts (Asian writing languages are incomplete)
• Lots of DIY tools and options to change the colors, height, vibration, popup, suggestions, and more.
Some of the Sci-Fi styles are loosely modeled after popular sci-fi shows and movies. To parody how the sci-fi designers thought future displays would look while displaying meaningless information and having indecipherable use, I gave them actual function that makes sense.
