Scorebook 1.3 — More than scores. Your growth story. This update brings clearer profiles, scoring, archives and reflection tools. STUDENT PROFILES AND SUBJECTS • Manage school, class, region, grade, scoring system and subjects in one profile. • Review and adjust subjects for the selected grade and system, rather than adding a new stage's subjects on top of the previous set. • Improved province, city and district selection and subject editing. GRADE HISTORY • Current-grade results and past grades are shown separately. Changing a grade does not rewrite earlier exams' grade associations. • Browse history by student, grade and exam, with a clearer entry for archived students. Archiving hides a student; it does not delete records. • Check and fill in missing grade information when editing older exams. CLEARER SCORING • Refined exam type, scope, school-year and term selection. • Improved subject, full-mark and scoring settings for different stages, including China's 3+1+2 and 3+3 high-school systems. • Record raw and assigned scores separately. Valid assigned scores and their full marks are used when entered; otherwise, raw marks are retained. • Blank marks are not treated as zero. Absences, other non-standard statuses, letter grades and pass/fail results are excluded from numeric analysis. • Enter assigned scores supplied by the school; Scorebook does not calculate official assigned scores. EXAM TIMELINES • See different exam types together by date, distinguished by color. • Follow overall and subject score rates, with individual results and scoring details available to check. • View class and grade ranking timelines. Missing rankings are omitted, not counted as zero. • Simplified analysis layout and filtering. • Score rates do not adjust for exam difficulty, coverage or subject mix. Rankings also depend on participant counts. REPORTS AND SHARING • Aligned exported reports with Insights, including trends, rankings, subjects and original records. • Redesigned score cards to highlight overall and subject results. • Preview school and class details before sharing. These come from the current profile, not necessarily the profile at the time of an older exam. GUIDANCE AND STUDY TOOLS • New first-launch introduction with interface examples. • More practical, button-led guidance for profiles, exam entry, Insights, goals, study logs and mistake review. • A more connected workflow for goals, check-ins, mistakes and the review queue. LANGUAGE AND INTERFACE • Switch between Chinese and English in Settings, with bilingual main navigation. • Expanded English text across learning, scoring, purchase messages, guidance, reports and sharing. • Names, schools and exam titles you enter remain unchanged. • More consistent headers, rounded components and native controls, with fewer duplicate borders. • Refined startup and tab transitions to reduce unnecessary animation and view updates. PURCHASES AND RELIABILITY • Existing purchase entitlements are checked at startup without waiting for product details to load. • Restore Purchases now shows progress, success, no-purchase and failure messages, and prevents duplicate requests. • Fixed shared-state updates during purchase-alert presentation. • Improved class-field storage compatibility and older-data handling. Class names previously not saved correctly may need to be re-entered. • Updated privacy, terms, disclaimer, data-permission and About information. BEFORE YOU UPDATE The free version supports one student and result recording/viewing. Multiple students, study tools, Insights and report sharing require Pro. Records remain on your device by default. This update retains existing profiles and results. Keep a device backup before updating; do not uninstall to upgrade. PDF and image reports are not restorable database backups. Thank you for keeping a record of every effort.
