About TScalc Scientific Calculator
TScalc is a scientific calculator where you type the whole expression, just as you would write it.
It is a rebuilt iPhone version of a calculator the developer originally made for Pocket PC in 2001.
TYPE EXPRESSIONS AS YOU READ THEM
Enter something like "sqrt(2) + sin(30)" in natural order. While you type, the result appears as soon as the expression can be calculated.
Implied multiplication such as 2pi or 3(4+1) works, and a missing closing parenthesis at the end is closed for you.
EDIT PAST CALCULATIONS
Your calculations and answers stay on screen. Tap one to bring the expression back, change a single number, and calculate again - no retyping.
The latest 100 calculations are kept and can also be opened as a list.
FUNCTIONS
- Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, parentheses
- sin, cos, tan with DEG / RAD switching
- log, ln, e to the power of x
- Square root, square, power, any root, reciprocal
- Pi, scientific notation (times ten to the power)
- Ans (previous answer)
CLEAR, ACCURATE RESULTS
- 0.1 + 0.2 shows 0.3, and sin 180 degrees shows 0 - no floating-point noise
- Division by zero, square roots of negative numbers and similar cases show the reason instead of a strange number
- Thousands separators make long numbers easy to read
MORE
- Tap the answer to copy it
- Tap the expression to move the cursor
- Light haptic feedback on every key
- Built-in help screen
- Dark design that is easy on the eyes
- Japanese and English
