Review momentum
ⓘ How we measure thisReview momentum (0-100) blends how fast the app collects ratings compared with other apps in its category (60%), whether that pace is speeding up (25%) and what recent raters give it (15%; recent stars well below lifetime pull it down). Ratings counts are read daily. A jump usually means a launch, a feature, ads or a new review prompt.
About V-Range Spotter
Your phone sits on the spotting scope and its camera watches the target. Every hit the camera picks up gets a light blue ring, and the app shows you its estimated score. Your last few hits stay faintly visible (you choose how many), so you can see your trend while the series is still running. Instead of searching the scope for the new hole and losing your flow, you get direct feedback. A must-have for every training session.
Save each series with one tap. In Recordings you go through every shot on its own: where it landed, which ring the app estimated and how much time passed since the shot before.
The Shot order view draws a path through your shots in the order you fired them. It shows how your series developed over time. From that you can work out for yourself how focused you were and at which shot rhythm you score better.
The Tight run view marks the three or five consecutive shots with the smallest spread. If you like, the app lays the camera image of the real target under the hits. Under All targets you find every target, sorted by month.
You need a spotting scope and a phone holder for it (a digiscoping adapter). The app estimates scores for 10 m air rifle, 10 m air pistol, 50 m rifle, 25/50 m pistol (precision target) and 300 m rifle. Other targets work without scoring: you then see the hits and where they sit relative to each other. When you put up a new target, tap “New target”; the app often notices the change by itself too.
You don't need an account. The camera image and your recordings stay on your phone, and the app sends nothing to the internet.
Scores and positions are estimates from the camera image. They help you train but don't replace official scoring. A shot through an existing hole, or a hole the camera cannot see (strong mirage, low light), can be missed.
