About Wavelyn Wavetable Maker
Wavelyn is an offline wavetable editor for iPhone and iPad. Shape harmonic or drawn cycles, build an interpolated waveform sequence, listen to its movement and export real WAV files.
SHAPE THE SOURCE
Edit 16 signed sine harmonic coefficients or draw a periodic waveform with 32 points. Choose a known cycle range from your own supported WAV: select start, length and channel. Wavelyn resamples that range to 2048 points. It does not detect pitch or automatically find cycles. Adjust phase, polarity, DC removal and peak normalization.
BUILD A TABLE
Arrange 2–8 evenly spaced keyframes. Generate 16, 32 or 64 frames with linear or cosine-eased interpolation. Inspect a waveform stack and select any frame. iPad provides an expanded workspace with a side editor at wide sizes.
HEAR THE MOVEMENT
Audition a full table scan at 55, 110 or 220 Hz for 2, 4 or 8 seconds with adjustable gain. Playback starts only when you choose Listen. This is an editor and audio preview, without a playable keyboard, AUv3, MIDI, effects or recording. Imported or drawn cycles can alias; listen at low gain.
TAKE REAL FILES
Export a mono IEEE float32 WAV table with consecutive 2048-sample frames at 44100 Hz, plus an individual PCM16 WAV for each frame, selected cycle WAV, audible scan WAV, complete frame measurements CSV, keyframe provenance CSV and a two-page PDF proof. Share individual files or the complete ZIP using native sharing. The table contains no proprietary synth markers: set the destination frame length explicitly. Synth, DAW and hardware compatibility has not been verified.
KEEP EDITABLE WORK
Save up to 24 tables, duplicate and delete projects, name them and add notes. Save 12 reusable keyframe presets. Retain up to 4 original WAV files per table, unchanged, within a 128 MB source-library limit. Export and import a project JSON backup containing settings and retained originals. Production starts empty; an explicitly labelled original Clay tones study is available.
SUPPORTED WAV INPUT
Standard RIFF mono/stereo PCM8/16/24/32 or IEEE float32, up to 8 MB, 10 seconds and 2 million channel samples. Select a 64–8192 sample cycle. RF64, extensible and compressed WAV are unsupported. Convert other formats before importing.
One purchase. No subscription, account, ads, analytics or developer upload. Files stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
