Zodiac Wheel downloads
Worldwide, per day, and installs to date. The band is open; the exact number is free with an account.
How this is calculated
Apple publishes no download counts. iPhone downloads come from chart positions and daily rating growth per country, calibrated on Google Play install counts; lifetime installs from ratings worldwide × installs per rating. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.
Where Zodiac Wheel's downloads come from Modelled
Last 30 days: organic search, browsing the store, features and paid ads.
Active users
All platforms, worldwide. Free with an account.
Stickiness (DAU / MAU)
how many monthly users open it on a given day
How this is calculated
Monthly users come from lifetime installs across every store, fitted on monthly active user figures companies publish; daily users = monthly × the typical daily/monthly ratio for the category. Confidence is the chance the real number is within half to double ours.

About Zodiac Wheel
Zodiac Wheel is an astrological instrument that runs entirely on your iPhone. No account.
No subscription. No server. No internet connection of any kind.
The celestial engine is on the device. Every planetary position, every aspect, every retrograde and every birth chart is computed from first
principles as you look at it, using the same Keplerian elements published by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the algorithms in Jean Meeus's
Astronomical Algorithms. Nothing is fetched. Nothing is looked up. Nothing about you leaves the phone, because nothing about you is sent
anywhere in the first place.
THE WHEEL
The twelve signs around a wheel of the year, with a hand at the Sun's true position and every body standing at its own degree. Tap any sign to read what it means and see what is standing in it right now.
And then you can run it. A shuttle under the wheel drives the whole sky forwards and backwards, from an hour a second to a season a second, and
lets go back to the present. Watch Mercury slow, stop and turn. Watch the Moon go round in a few seconds of your thumb. Nothing that fetches its answers from a server can do this, because the engine is on your phone rather than on somebody's machine.
THE SKY
What is actually happening overhead, right now. Every aspect in force with its exact angle and orb, and whether it is applying or separating. Retrogrades with the dates either side. Most apps give you a mood. This gives you the geometry the mood came from. Run the wheel and this moves with it, so you can read the sky of any date you like.
THE CHART
A full birth chart from a date, a time and a place. Sun, Moon, Ascendant and Midheaven, every planet in its sign and house, and the complete aspect grid. Whole Sign, Placidus or Equal houses, whichever tradition you work in. Historical time zones are handled properly, so a birth in a daylight-saving week forty years ago resolves to the right hour, which is the detail that moves an Ascendant by a whole sign.
THE REFERENCE
Twelve signs, ten bodies, twelve houses and five aspects, each with what it signifies in the tradition. Searchable, and written to explain rather than to predict.
Works in an aeroplane. Works in a basement. Works in ten years when the servers behind other apps have been switched off.
One price, once. No adverts, no tracking, no analytics, no in-app purchases.

5.1
On iPad the five tabs now sit along the top and open into a sidebar at a tap, so the wheel, the sky and the chart are one reach apart and the wheel keeps the full height of the screen.
Every position in the app is now worked out by the same astronomy engine as our other sky apps. The planets, the Sun and the Moon are checked against NASA JPL's Horizons ephemeris, and the Ascendant, the Midheaven and the house cusps against Swiss Ephemeris, to a fraction of an arcminute. Whole Sign, Placidus and Equal all come from that one engine, so every chart you draw and every aspect in the Sky tab rests on the same figures.
Everything is still worked out on your device, with no account and no network. The iPhone layout is unchanged.
