This update brings you everything since July: try a scene before you sign up, characters that can reply to your comments when their creator turns it on, and better tools for creators. Try first, sign up later - Open the app, answer three quick questions and we pick characters you are likely to click with. Tap through a short opening scene right away; sign up to type your own replies, and your picks stay with your account. - A shorter start: terms on one screen, your birthday in a few taps. Sign up after a trial and we take you straight to chat with the character you just played; otherwise you land on a wall of characters picked for you. Chat - Long screenshot: press and hold a message, pick a few, and save them as one long image or several pages, with your chat look. With the status bar turned on, character messages also show their own status bar. - The press-and-hold message menu puts copy, edit, select several and pin in the first row, so there is no scrolling. - A bigger status bar: affection, time, place and relationship stage, with icons and progress bars. Change its look, or describe one in a sentence and let AI build it. Make a look your default. - Adding your own status bar field now uses the same field card creators use: six ways a field can change each reply, an optional example, and a clear reason when it cannot be saved. Looks you made yourself can be deleted. - Set the reply mode and AI model for each conversation: quicker replies, or richer writing. - My chat appearance: set it once and every chat follows. For one special chat, choose "Only This Chat". New theme option: Follow system. - Tap a suggested reply to send it, or press and hold to edit it first. Quick messages now have a lightning icon. - Persona setup asks five questions about who you are in the story, then brings it into the chat. - Replies that go missing fill in by themselves. Points read the same on every screen, with one decimal and no rounding up, and you are told when you need more. - Haptics only for moments that matter, and you can turn them off. Text size follows your phone's setting. Explore and characters - New poster cards and rebuilt search and tag pages. Follow a tag and a row of your followed tags shows up in Explore. - Pick a scene on a character's page before you speak. - Phones in Hong Kong and Macau switch to Hong Kong Traditional Chinese, and characters can speak colloquial Cantonese. Feed and community - Characters post: answer a question post in the comments, and vote on a poll right from its card. - When a creator turns it on, characters reply to your comments and notify you. In a thread you started, keep commenting and characters can reply to your follow-ups too. - Posts and comments written by AI are labelled "AI-written"; replies a creator edited say so. - Manage Follows: tags and creators on two tabs, all in one page. For creators - Design a character's status bar while you create it: AI suggests fields, you describe the look in a sentence, and you preview as you go. Looks you make with AI show up in your list when they are ready, and you can delete the ones you do not want. - A redesigned creator page: Home, Characters and Posts tabs, character search and tag filters, and sharing. - Design my page with AI: describe a style in a sentence, preview it, revise it, or switch back to the old one. - Story pacing: steady build-up, follow the player, or keep the plot moving. The creator chooses which one a character uses. - Post polls, and keep several drafts without losing anything. Also - Staying signed in is sturdier, and shared links open where they should. The terms and privacy links on the sign-in page now open the real documents. - A free book now says "Get for Free" when the preview ends. - When a chat has several parts, delete removes only the part you pick, and the list updates right away. - A hamster pops out when you pull to refresh.
