Hey,
based on your feedback, we made a few changes to the anniversary edition to address some of the concerns.
A few gameplay changes have been adjusted to better fit the classic game style, while keeping the ease of use of the updated version.
What's new?
Added: Setting to turn off the danger tiles.
Added: Precise shield bash and shield throw: tap a free tile behind an enemy, barrel or bomb to push it exactly there. Tapping the enemy itself still pushes with full power.
Added: Precise hook: tap a tile between Enyo and the hooked enemy to pull it only that far, or a free tile behind Enyo to pull it past her and land it there.
Added: “No” button when the game asks whether to continue your last game.
Changed: Throwing the shield at an empty tile now lands it on that tile instead of at the end of the row.
Changed: On phones and tablets, tap an enemy to open its info box and tap anywhere to close it. You no longer have to hold your finger on the enemy.
Changed: Stun leaping or jumping onto your dropped shield now earns a skull, the same as walking onto it.
Changed: The Cyclops can only be hooked with at least one free tile in between, like turtles and rings.
Changed: The shield now comes back when only turtles are left, also when there’s more than one turtle.
Fixed: The game froze when the Satyr pulled Enyo and she bumped back into him.
Fixed: Crash and broken shield bash after the shield came back with only a turtle left.
Fixed: Stun leaping a flying enemy into lava didn’t count toward the kill streak at 2 skulls.
Fixed: The Odyssey day and skull counter at the top of the screen didn’t fit on small screens.
Fixed: Bombs and other units were sometimes drawn on a different tile than they were actually on, which also made the Minotaur seem to move onto other enemies.
Fixed: The Frogger’s landing tiles and the tiles right next to the Monkey were wrongly marked as dangerous.
Fixed: Arrow tiles destroyed the Monkey’s barrel instead of redirecting it.
Fixed: The Monkey’s barrel didn’t stun Enyo when her back was against a plain wall, but did when the wall had spikes.
Fixed: The Monkey could step aside before the other enemies attacked, opening a line for them.
Fixed: The Minotaur charging into a stunned enemy next to Enyo didn’t stun her when she was against a wall.
Fixed: Stunned flying enemies over lava died later when pushed against a plain wall, instead of falling into the lava right away.
