WDAMAGE 2: iPhone vs Android

Hi everyone! This WDAMAGE 2 update brings a ton of improvements and changes, some of which fundamentally reshape the entire game. What's new: - 4 new cars. - The Polygon map has been significantly expanded with around 100 new objects. It now uses the collision detection algorithms from the Black version of Polygon, so the regular map runs just as smoothly. As announced earlier, the Black version has been removed from the game. - New soil simulation. The ground reacts dynamically to your wheels and deforms under them. Handling depends on the surface you're driving on, and your car can get stuck with its wheels spinning. A test area for it has also been added to the Polygon map. - A dedicated system for mud splashes and clumps of dirt that stick to your car. - Interactive vegetation that reacts to your car. For now it's just grass, but more plant life is planned for the future. - Visual water simulation. Water can wash mud off your car, though only in a simple way for now. - Atmosphere simulation: clouds and fog now change dynamically, and you can fly off the map into outer space. Space is purely visual for now and isn't a separate gameplay mechanic yet, but it has potential, so I'll think about what can be done with it in the future. - Weather system: it can now rain, thunderstorms can break out, and the sky can get covered with thick clouds. Cars react accordingly: raindrops appear on the body, and the drops leave water streaks on the camera. - Day/night cycle. A special tool lets you set any time you like, and you can also sync the in-game time with your device. - Reworked lighting system. - New shadow rendering system. Static objects now cast real-time shadows, so your car gets shaded when you drive into a shadowed area, and shadows from dynamic objects look nicer and perform better. - Reworked car shader: cars now support real-time reflections. - Cars can now fly — just unlock the special anti-gravity module. - UI improvements. - Multiplayer chat. - Notifications when a player joins a multiplayer room. - The multiplayer room host can change the time of day and weather at will. - Fixed a number of bugs, including one where objects could pull cars inside them. - New languages: French, German, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish. - Detailed graphics settings. - New music.
