- 📦Family Nest - Family Locator updated to version 2.7.1iOSFixes for location sharing and a lighter app.
• If your location stopped updating after a recent update, or the app said it was coming from an old phone, this fixes it. Your phone shares again on its own - no reinstall needed.
• The app no longer opens a connection to our servers every time it wakes in the background. Less battery and data use.
• Shake to report now asks first, so an accidental shake never opens a report. You can turn it off right there.
• Trip details no longer draw speeding stretches over the route; they live in the Speeding screen.
• Walks and drives are told apart more reliably in your history.… more - 📈Family Nest - Family Locator entered the top 100AndroidTop Grossing · Parenting · DE

- 📦Family Nest - Family Locator updated to version 2.7.0iOSLocation sharing that isn't set up right now tells you exactly what to fix — a short walkthrough shows which Settings switch to flip, and you can turn on Always in one tap.
If a family member's phone has stopped sharing, tap Ask to fix and they get a nudge that opens straight to the fix.
Live tracking shows a clear banner at the top when a member's location is broken or their phone is in Low Power Mode, instead of a pop-up every time you open it.
Trip distances in the timeline now follow the actual route driven, so they match your car and your maps app.
Restoring a purchase is more reliable, and battery alerts always show the family member's name.
Photos sent in chat now open sharp every time, you can share where you are or a saved place from the paperclip, and conversation previews always show the latest message.

Send photos, share a location, react, delete your own messages for everyone, and get previews and unread counts that stay right.
Also: live location links keep updating in the background, "Until I stop" sharing shows its 24-hour end, switching plans can no longer start a second subscription, a launch crash is fixed, and the chat and alerts icons are refreshed.… more - 📦Family Nest - Family Locator updated to version 2.6.9iOSA big update for families:
• Chat, rebuilt — send photos, see who replied last, and chat with family on Android too.
• Share your live location with anyone by link — no app needed — for 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
• Nest Drive — a weekly driving score with hard brakes, speeding and a shareable score card.
• Smarter speed alerts — an alert when someone starts speeding, an update if it continues, and a summary of where and for how long (Premium).
• Expect them by… — one tap on the Live Tracking ETA and you'll hear if they're late.
• Use your iPad with the same account — it watches while your phone shares.
• Joining a Nest no longer needs an account, and a recovery code brings your profile to a new phone.
• Report a problem by shaking your phone on any screen.
• The new Family tab puts invites, places, premium and settings in one place.

In-app revenue
Worldwide, what users spend in Family Nest: Private Locator before Apple and Google take their fee.
How this is calculated
Not in an overall Top Grossing chart, only in category charts: each category position is converted to the overall position it corresponds to, then priced on the same rank-to-revenue curve, inside the part of each market the charted apps leave over.

About Family Nest: Private Locator
Family Nest is a family locator and child GPS tracker for parents: see where your children are, know when they arrive at school or get home, and help new drivers drive safely. Location is shared only inside your private family group, called a Nest, and everyone in it can see who is sharing.
Live family map
• Your children's real-time GPS location on a private map, with battery level and when their phone last checked in
• Live tracking with the route and ETA while they're on the way, in a picture-in-picture window if you like
• Share your own live location by link, for 15 minutes up to 6 hours or until you stop; it opens in any browser and ends on its own
• Nest at a Glance widget: everyone's place and battery on your home screen
Expect: know if they're late
• Pick a place and a time on your child's card, and be told the moment they arrive, or if they haven't
• Repeat it every day for the school run or practice
Place alerts (geofences)
• Arrival and departure alerts for Home, School, Grandma's or anywhere, with a zone you size on the map
• Choose which family members alert you at each place
• Low battery alerts before a phone goes quiet
Location history
• Up to 365 days of location history: every stop, how long they stayed, and every trip drawn on the map
• Download a day as a PDF report with the timeline, a map, speed and distance
• Flights show as flights, not as a long stay at the airport
Safe driving with Nest Drive
• A driving score for each driver, by day and by week, and a driver profile for new and teen drivers
• Driving events on the map: hard braking, rapid acceleration and speeding, with when and where each happened
• Speed alerts with a limit for each driver: one alert per speeding episode, with how long it lasted and the top speed
• Drive alerts when someone starts and finishes a drive
SOS and Watch Over Me
• Hold SOS and your family gets an urgent alert with your location and battery; your emergency contacts get a text message with a map link
• An SOS widget on your home screen
• Watch Over Me: your family follows a walk or a late journey home until you arrive
Family chat and the Nest feed
• A private chat for your Nest, with photos and shared places
• The Nest feed: arrivals, departures and drives, in order
• A warning when a phone's location may be mocked or spoofed
