"Safety Stepping Stone" is the government's representative disaster safety portal app, providing a variety of disaster safety information needed in the event of a disaster or in everyday life. It provides a single app with a wide range of information, including emergency disaster text messages, disaster news and reports, locations of facilities like civil defense shelters and hospitals, and content by type. In particular, public action guidelines for each type of disaster, such as earthquakes, are available anytime, anywhere, even when communication is interrupted.

- Notifications: Required to receive disaster text messages, such as disaster information and weather alerts.
- Location: Location information is accessed to check weather, hospitals, civil defense shelters, and other facilities, and to receive base station-based disaster text messages. Location information is accessed even when the app is not in use to receive base station-based disaster text messages.

Optional access permissions require user permission to use these features. Services other than the corresponding features can still be used without permission.
