DICOM Viewer - MesDICOM

MesDICOM is a DICOM viewer for iPhone and iPad. Open a disc copy, a folder, a ZIP archive, or a single DICOM file and view the study on your device.

MesDICOM is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor, or prevent any disease or condition, and it does not provide medical advice. It does not replace certified clinical software or the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional. Images and PDFs exported from the app are not medical reports and contain no diagnosis.

OPEN YOUR FILES
- DICOM files, folders, ZIP archives, and DICOM files without an extension
- Open in MesDICOM from Files, Safari, or AirDrop
- CT, MR, PET, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and other modalities
- Sample CT studies included, so you can try the app before importing
- If a study cannot be opened, the app tells you why and what to try

VIEW
- Adjust window/level by dragging, or pick one of 30 presets for CT, MR, PET, and ultrasound
- Zoom, pan, rotate, and flip; step through series; play multi-frame images with cine
- Orientation markers (R/L/A/P/H/F) and a scale bar when the file includes spacing information
- Two- and four-view layouts, including two different studies side by side with linked scrolling
- Searchable DICOM tag viewer; tap a value to copy it

MPR AND 3D
- Axial, coronal, and sagittal views linked by a crosshair, with window and slice controls for each view
- 3D volume rendering with MIP, Bone, Soft Tissue, Lung, and Surface presets
- Threshold-based overlays for bone, soft tissue, and lung

MEASURE AND ANNOTATE
- Distance and angle: in millimetres when the file includes pixel spacing, in pixels when it does not
- Region-of-interest statistics: mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum, and area
- Arrow, text, and freehand markup
- Measurements and markup are saved per image and are still there when you reopen the study
- Measure on full-screen MPR views

ORGANIZE
- Folders, and search by study name, patient name, patient ID, modality, note, or tag
- Patients view groups studies using the patient information in the files
- Notes, tags, and bookmarked key images for each study
- DICOMweb search and retrieve from a server you set up

SHARE
- Share the current image, or export the original DICOM files as a ZIP
- One-page PDF summary with the image, study details, and measurements
- Before you share, a preview lists the information the export contains
- Optional anonymizing replaces patient name and study title in the PDFs and file names the app creates. It does not change DICOM headers or text embedded in the image.

PRIVACY
- Imported studies are processed and stored on your device. No account is required, and your images are not uploaded to us.
- The app connects to a DICOMweb server only when you set one up and search it.
- Optional app lock with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode
